In my opinion I think the Carrera S is the better car but as I said earlier I'm a sucker for that red stripe. My dealer informed me yesterday to expect my "Carrera S" in November, I said you mean 4S and to my horror she said no. So as I sit here today I'm faced with three choices either take the C2S in November, wait for a C4S to arrive no earlier than MARCH 2009, or call the whole thing off. Let me know what you think
If you want stripes, go to Home Depot and get yourself a red tape and tape it between your taillights. https://teamspeed.com/forums/images/...eed/smilie.gif

Seriously, you can just get that reflector later.

+1. Not sure why you've got your heart set on the AWD, but I agree that the RWD car is more fun. OTOH, if you really want the AWD, DO NOT settle. You'll definitely regret it.

If u want the best of both worlds, get the CS and add the reflector later. This way you will have what you want cosmetically, and dont have to wait for it so long!

Congratulations on your decision. Though I'm totally a 2wd kinda' guy (the weight, the steering feel, the GT2 and GT3 and RS add to my bias as well) never, NEVER settle for one of these cars. Get the one you want, or not at all. Period.

If the only reason for you to get the 4S is the stripe ... just get that S and add a C4S trunk. You'll have the stripe AND the reduced weight and improved handling of the Carrera S. Perfect combination. Maybe you can make a fuss with the dealer that misordered your car and have them give you that stripe part ... kinda far fetched, but you never know.

But if you actually wanted the AWD, by all means get the 4S.
