New member here!
Just started posting here and I wanted to say this is an incredible site. Well done.
Anyways, I have a question for some of you guys. To make a long story short, finished school a couple years ago, making good money and now Im looking to purchase a car. Here is the dilemma, I live in Montreal, where weather SUCKS about 4-5 months a years: cold+snow.
Option 1: Get a beautiful pre-owned 997/997s (pre-facelift) and drive it most of the year but keep my beater, a strong running Honda Civic (lol) for poor climates? Although the 997 performs well in winter, we have TERRIBLE roads here during the winter, and they will beat the car...
Option 2: Sell the Civic, purchase the upcoming 2009 Audi A4 Avant (which looks sick IMO), drive it all year round, and eventually, keep it as my winter ride when I purchase a carrera? Keep in mind, if I do this, I do not foresee buying a carrera in the next 3 years.
PS. I know these are 2 COMPLETELY different cars that are usually never cross-shopped!lol

M, you are definately right about that, the only forum with class...
I guess I shouldnt have asked this question here...lol, what was I expecting. I guess I am asking because I would feel weird driving a Civic on my "other" days...lol
