The Tiptronic 997 utilizes a 3-radiator cooling system, improving engine cooling by up to 20 degrees compared to a 2-radiator arrangement. Cars equipped with the optional X51 Powerkit also received this upgrade. But what about those 6-speed cars without the $16,900 Powerkit? These are left with a 2-radiator cooling system. Adequate for street driving, but not for a hot day at the track.
The solution? A complete kit from Porsche, including each part required to install the additional radiator into your manual 997, allowing your engine to operate under heavy loads for longer periods.
