Fabspeed muffer + Vorsteiner spoiler install
Tuesday at Benchmark Motoring in Seattle, we put on the Vorsteiner rear deck lid spoiler and Fabspeed Maxflo side mufflers. We left the primary Porsche muffler untouched with the factory PSE completely intact.
It definitely feels like extra punch over 6000 rpm but thats my butt-dyno. Sound is tough to explain - it's like the 991 PSE before but has slightly more pronounced crackles and pops and it is more focused, if that makes any sense. It has a pleasant more-exotic (imo) resonance in normal driving that was missing before. It sounds good without the PSE activated now. PSE activated, it's a bit louder than before, not too much with just the side-mufflers..but now I really want to add the headers/cats. hehe. I don't have a good driving sound clip yet, just a few revs.
I can't touch the center primary Porsche muffler if I want to keep the factory PSE intact. I can only do the side mufflers (now done) and the Fabspeed Sport headers maybe in the future. If you have PSE and order the Fabspeed side mufflers, make sure they know you have PSE because the pipe from the muffler to the exhaust tip is not the same as without PSE. We had to modify our Fabspeed pipe (cut it to proper length) to make the install work. It took all day. It was a bummer waiting for the pipe to be cut by a local muffler shop, but we got it done. Justin Karis at Benchmark Motoring in Seattle made it all work. Thanks, Justin.

Been on about four months now without issues. A quick sound clip - I can't imagine the car without the bit of extra sound now. Again, we kept the PSE intact and just replaced the secondary mufflers.
