Decent, but not worth signing on the dotted line yet. Even with a good PPI, I still have some work to do before buying it.

I believe in having at minimum 1 year living expenses, and no CC debt. Once those are met, I feel its acceptable to finance whatever you want as long as those finance payments are factored into your 1 year of expenses.

Of course in a perfect world we could all pay cash for everything, but I also believe in the notion that we should do things tha make us happy, as life is only so long.

Yes youre right too..I dont have any kid (yet) - by the way. But I like to have my freedom..and dont forget that small houses have small garages..another problem for me..

Hey, but youre right..we only live once..and whgat the point to buy a 458 or GT2RS when youre 65 or 70..we are youg now..

That was my experience there as well. Tougher for me to accept because all the options/mods I have (PSE, PCCB, sport buckets, iPod, etc.). To get a trade-in quote as if I'm turning in a base Carrera is ridiculous unless the ask on the car they're selling is just as low (they're a dealer, so not likely). I'm certain it would be easier to liquidate than a base 997 and they'd get all the upside, hence my inclination toward consignment. Hold firm. Good luck!

So at this point I'm trying to decide between these two. Both are 2007, but the black one has steel rotors and almost 20k miles where the red has ceramic rotors and less than 10k miles, catch is the red is $15k more....

Can you feel me swaying towards the redhead?
