Not a big 20" fan, but they do look good on that car

One of the few 20" rims that look nice on a 911.

20" just for show, have nothing to do with performance.
like the old said "all show no go"

Its just personal taste, I would never put 20's on a 997. What I would like to put is a set of BBS LM's with a wide aggressive stance and a nice drop. Now that would look pretty good in 19".

I would never ever get 20's on a sports car, and I don't even think it looks BETTER either! A nice drop and 19's = perfecto

I don't know what it is about the 997's but I think they look great with 20's. I am running at set of lightweight Champion 20"'s on my car and the performance is fine. Hell, I tracked that crap out of it with Techart 20's last summer.

You can try to blame your crappy driving on the wheels but it's not always true...

Yup, my HRE P40s are 19" for good reason.

Firstly I wanted to keep to OEM specifications as much as possible, secondly they are lighter than 20s (1kg un-sprung weight equates to 8kg sprung in terms of handling), and lastly I didn't want to lose ride comfort (20s certainly make the car ride much harder).

Didn't think the visual difference is enough to warrant compromise on the above.

20" TA looks perfect. I would ruin the handling and comfort just for the looks.
