I don't know what it is about the 997's but I think they look great with 20's. I am running at set of lightweight Champion 20"'s on my car and the performance is fine. Hell, I tracked that crap out of it with Techart 20's last summer.

Yup, my HRE P40s are 19" for good reason.
Firstly I wanted to keep to OEM specifications as much as possible, secondly they are lighter than 20s (1kg un-sprung weight equates to 8kg sprung in terms of handling), and lastly I didn't want to lose ride comfort (20s certainly make the car ride much harder).
Didn't think the visual difference is enough to warrant compromise on the above.
