Dechrome the front LED light?

Dechrome the front LED light?

Hey Guys,

Any idea if there is a way to dechrome the lower part of the front bumper led.. black would give a better look... any ideas?

the LED's reflect up and out... if you dechrome... you De-LED...

look at the car up close, the old LED's would shine straight out... the new ones are perpendicular and reflect... hence why 997.2 is bright as all hell and 991 is... dull.

That chrome piece is my pet peeve with the 991. I can't stand it.

EDIT: If it is a black car, I wonder how some light tint over the lens may look.
