Went for a drive today with fall in full swing. Took a few pics of the Platinum Silver / Platinum CS wheels. Let me know when to stop posting pics... I just love taking pictures of Porsches!

Love the fall driving weather !! Those are some great shots. Is it about peak time for the fall foliage down there ? Always wanted to make a trip in the fall.

 

Thanks. I think we've still got another week or so of the amazing foliage colors. We're lucky... great scenery and great roads!

 

So do you definitely prefer it over the 997.2 GT3?

 

I was dreading asking myself the same question! A good one though.

For me the answer is fairly clear.

- If I were to spend a significant time on a track the GT3 would still be my first choice.

- If the choice was between a GT3 or C2/4S 997.2 and I was to use the car predominantly on country windy roads which are primarily what I drive on... I would still choose the GT3 (997.2)

- If it was the latter but between a GT3 and the 991S and the little time I intend to spend on the track, it would be the 991S. I prefer its usability and comfort in "normal" driving but love the ability to tap into its Hyde like characteristics when needed. So far I have been surprised at how little I miss the GT3. Who knows what will happen once once the GT3, TT or GTS are released
