Hi, those are the controls for the Escort 9500ci radar and laser detection system. Integrated into that control panel is the optional smart cord live system also, where a bluetooth connection to Escort's application on a smart phone will connect to other users and share alerts.

Benchmark Motoring in Seattle fabricated a custom display piece for me on top of the steering column. When looking at the dashboard from the driver's seat, the Escort alert display is right under the digital speed display. It's always in view, and unobtrusive. Looks good and I know those wheels are easy to clean

Ty and yeah haven't dropped it, it's at stock pasm height. I've never dropped a car but appreciate the clean look from those who do.
