:: ECS Tuning :: Hood Crest Replacement Kit

A timeless tradition cannot be captured in a single logo, but the regal Porsche crest has come to emblemize the performance and quality built into Germany's iconic sports vehicles. A faded badge gives your car a neglected appearance. Badges can get worn down over time from weather and the sun's harmful rays. Replace your worn hood emblem with this all metal, Genuine Porsche crest, gold with red and black accents, just like the original. Install yours in minutes by following the instructions in our free online video.

Ouch $96 for a plastic badge, well I guess if you can afford a porsche, the cost is probably peanuts.

I have a couple issues with this post...

1) this is a metal Porsche crest, no where does it say plastic

2) I hate when people assume things about other peoples money. Do you realize that not everyone driving a Porsche is rich? Do you honestly think that every person that owns one does not have a budget and that $100 isn't piddly squat to them? It just rubs me the wrong way when people say things with such ignorance.

3) there are MANY MANY Porsches that are less than 20k. Would you say the same thing about someone spending $100 on a mustang? Doubtful

Back on topic. Great product and a nice update to a faded logo, well put together kit

Thank you for the support quickZohsix. All badges are metal and hand painted from Porsche. Our kit comes with everything needed to do it yourself and replaces your faded or warn out badge. We have even included a DYI instructions. I can guarantee we are one of the lowest prices around for a hood crest replacement kit if not the lowest.

How the Crest is made.

DIY instructions.

I wouldn't worry, ECS. Ignorance shines through.
