Any way of tracking an order?

Any way of tracking an order?
I'm just wondering if there's a way to track an order that's in the Porsche system without bothering my dealer every five seconds!
The impatient side of me would far prefer to do this myself and as often as I like. Its a wonder that Porsche don't provide an online tracking system thats accessible by customers.
Any ideas?
Is it possible for a friendly dealer to set up a tracking thread where we can submit our order number etc. and they could update it every couple of days or so? Is this one for Stoppie or one of the site sponsors?

I was notified that my build is now complete and the car should be assigned a VIN soon. Its also a good time to thank Brobbins016 for his help and just being a nice Teamspeeder.
Now its about the car quickly catching a boat over to these shores. Am I correct in assuming that the dealer would know which boat the car would be on? Do they only know that once the car is physically on the boat or would they know well in advance?
Ahhh the questions of an impatient duffer!

Dealer will know the ship name and the approximate arrival date to the port of entry as soon as it is loaded on the ship. Porsche ships to Davisville, RI and Brunswick, GA on the east coast. They also ship to Houston, TX in the Gulf region.
Once you know the ship name, you can track it when it is near land using the following links:
Live Ships Map - AIS - Vessel Traffic and Positions
or
FleetMon - free vessel and port database with AIS live positions, global vessel tracking and fleet monitoring, vessel schedules, port arrivals- and departure history, satellite and terrestrial AIS - FleetMon.com
My Cayenne left Germany on 8/17 and arrived in Brunswick on 8/30 after a stop in Davisville. Still stuck in port waiting to be processed (stupid holiday weekend)

ww, thank you for the info. It is appreciated. I'm quite sure my car will be shipped to Brunswick and am hoping for a quick crossing.
You'll hopefully get your Cayenne very soon. I'm sure the wait is frustrating. I'll check out the Cayenne thread for pics when it arrives.
