I am out there in late september and am having the same trouble! Went through the process with avis and gave all my credit card details. All for them to come back and say there wasnt one available. Pretty frustrating especially after i had booked my flight. Should have translated the page!

I have had a look at the suggestions made, particulalry erento. As i used to have a 997 i really want to try a 991.

Any help you can provide much appreciated.

If you were in the tri-state area, I would say Gotham Dream Cars. I rented to times with them for two week periods, a Ferrari and a Lamborghini I had a great experience. Perhaps send him an email if he could be of any help to you.
