Got a new 991 Cabriolet!

Thanks! I agree completely! I have been getting so many compliments on the car. Went to the PCA Concours yesterday at the Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills, and lots of cool cars, but got a lot of nice feedback on my car, in the parking lot. Fun.

I never said I didn't like it, it was NICE, the quality is amazing especially the interior but what I'm saying is that it's kind of tiring to see same shit from year to year, they should have brought a little bit more excitement with it imo.

lol you sir, are missing the point of the 911 if you think it is meant to be flashy. exciting it is. you clearly havent driven one to say that it is not 'exciting.' looks wise, the new 991 is just different enough to set it apart from it predecessors while not deviating too much from what dr. ferry porsche designed in the first 911. this is the beauty about porsche.

Also, the 911 is a car that evolves. They take the same design and tweak and make it better with every passing generation. It's not just the design, but the tech and engineering that goes into the car that is subject to change.
The idea is in being able to improve on something as much as one can.
Classic 911s are just timeless though.

Just modified my 991 front fascia with the addition of mesh grilles. I did this on my Panamera Turbo, mainly because so many leaves and other crap gets in there...this is a solution that seems to work well, and I am really happy with the result. The grilles are black gloss, but hard to photograph. Here are before and after photos.

Thanks - the front looks sort of bland without it, and add in the benefit of not having crap build up in the side openings, it is a bonus! The center section is just a plastic cover, which in my opinion looks terrible...so that was a big visual improvement to me.
