That's a beautiful car. I am more of a coupe man, but the 991 cab does look so much better with top up than the 997.

 

forgive me if someone has already asked this, but how good is the Burmester over the Bose? to be honest im not super impressed with the bose in my porsche just because the B&O in my audi is really good.

Personally I've never been impressed with the B&O- I do like the Burmester... the BOSE in the new 991 is MUCH better than the 997. As in, I didn't like the BOSE in the 997. I really like the BOSE in the 991.

 

I think the Burmester is a great upgrade if you listen to concert DVDs (like I do). The 6 disc changer is really useful - I put my top 6 concert DVDs in there and listen to them in 5.1 DTS typically. The sound is the best I have heard in a car. Really impressed. And the 991 Burmester is on par with the Panamera Burmester design. Really terrific.

Today, I added spacers to the wheels...7 mm up front, 15 to the rear. Really makes the car appear wider, and more aggressive. I really like the way it turned out. Not sure if you can tell from the pictures below but it is noticeable in person! Since my previous 997 GTS had center locks, it couldn't be done, but now I remember why I liked it so much.
The first 2 photos are before, the other 4 are after the spacers were added.

Actually where the spacers were put on was a tire/wheel shop...not BH Porsche. The lot in the last few pictures are the BH Porsche sales lot.
