Porsche 991 cabrio No PASM option!?

i tried to configure it online and there is no option.
some people told me it comes as standard option but then there is no front lip spoiler for the cabrio in the configurator...
there has to be some sort of failure with this.
if the cabrio is only available without PASM i think it is a big drawbaack,

Hmm... not really:

This is the way it is:

Carrera: PASM is an option
Carrera S: PASM is standard

This goes for both coupe and cabriolet.

What is missing on the cabriolet is the optional Sport PASM (20 mm lower ride and front lip spoiler), that is only for the coupe.

Sport PASM would look a little odd on the Cabrio....but the lowered stance would be nice.

i dont get it??
why has cabrio no option for lowering of 20mm?
whats the damn sense?
why would someone exclude this option from the cab..
that is just stupid to me. the front lip looks so good and the lower 20 mm do some for the strong look.
i wish i could understand some dumb manager decision why they excluded these from the cabrio....

possibly an aerodynamics thing? Who knows. It does seem silly.

*keep in mind the rear wing goes up farther as well.

All cabriolets derived from a car that is originally designed as a coupe have problems with torsional stiffness of the body.

It's perfectly possible that lowering the ride 20 mm is not suitable for the cabriolet body. I wouldn't be surprised if Porsche is leaving this option out for a perfectly valid technical reason.

The cars are designed as a cabriolet from the beginning now. I believ that was started for 997s so no, that's old school thinking.
