that doesn't look good......thats going to cost a pretty penny to fix and/or clean

guys.. you never read that porsche constructs their cars from a special space age material that will repell all types of wet concrete and road paint? They do their market research.

its right there in the owners manual. The car will be fine and can be found at the local starbucks in the next few days.

If the owner was at fault, how does it usually work with his insurance provider? Assuming the guy's fully covered.

It's just an at-fault claim. Premium goes up with the increased risk you now carry.

Can't see it being different in the states?

Yes, it would be a typical at-fault total. And his insurance will either jack up his rates based on that, or drop him altogether.
