You are correct. The doors do sound a bit better, but tho't it was because I was in the dealership's caveronus showroom.

I have to tell you, tho ... the sound of a 993 door shutting IS spectacular! CLUNK! Like a tank.

Bagger, the doors do sound nice, assume its the Alumimum door design- also the car IS shipped with bump stops in it thus the rise in the front. Dead pedal was noticed as well, they'll shift the brake over and make room for the 3rd pedal when released.

Glad you guys are enjoying it!

Agree with many of your points about the car. I was at the unveiling on Thursday as I live a few minutes away.

Disagree about it not being a good area to drive the car--if you go 5 minutes away there are miles upon miles of twisty back roads with few cops. Being the weekend though I can see how traffic would be a mess in the immediate area.
