Catching up on lost time....
havent been around for almost 4 years now, figured I'd catch up by sharing past porsches with other Porschephile's.....
Early in 2009 I got the Porsche bug badly (had never owned a Porsche but always admired the 911 (except the 996 (sorry guys)), so after the insistance of a friend who is also on this board I said screw it one day and came home with this 997 Cab:

then about 2 weeks after i put on the volks, the true urge (my original desire, the 2009 model with the new PDK transmission) became a reality.
Swapped over the volks/suspension and did without the tint this time around (car really doesnt need tint, the cab was hot before and after because of the cab top and not because of the sun coming thru the windows!)

16 months and 16k miles the 997.2 had many changes, various HRE's from WheelsBoutique and Exhaust from Fabspeed.
Work Meisters S1 3Piece

And then with the arrival of a British "Go Kart" I decided the 911 was redundant and it found a better home (and later totalled!) But a 911 will be back in the stable soon with my order of a 991 in november that has a March build date!
