Apparently Porsche added a resonance chamber with a vibrating membrane right in front of the engine to transfer a lot of the engine and mechanical noise to the interior. Awesome!

I think that is true for only standard exhaust.... This car had the optional sport exhaust.....

The best I could figure was the other guy was less than thrilled that he had to stay back in frigid Germany while his buddy thrashed the 991 around a track in warm So. Cal. Am I even close?

USCCayman you are right on. But in general, the stories in Grip pretty much suck. I don't think I've ever laughed at any of their "jokes". The car reviews however are amazing
