So far, no review said anything like that, and this is Harris we're talking about. We know that he doesn't talk from his ass like a lot of journalists do to fill up space (referring to 99% of reviews saying this exactly: It is very fast, but the steering isn't as good, and the driving feel is compromised. But it rides very good."). Harris definitely the best in the business right now. He does a great job getting his points and emotions across accurately.

Evo had a preview of the 991 a couple of issues ago (with the Aventador on the cover).
They said, specs wise, the base Carrera is basically even with the Mark 1 GT3.
Think about that. The base 911 is going to perform on a level that the very best 911 of 1999 performed at.
To me, that is just amazing progress.
