PSE Valve - I want it ON - ALL THE TIME

I've seen some DYIs for the 997.1 on how to disconnect the valve in order to keep PSE 'On' all of the time, but can't seem to figure out how to do it on my 997.2 Anyone here know how to do that, and whether it's something I can do on my own?

I have a 996...so it may be wildly different in a 997... But there was a speed sensor wire that plugged into the module controlling the PSE. I unplugged it, electrical taped it so it would stay clean and that was it. PSE on "loud" all the time. DIY's on renntech, too. Took me 2 mins to do.

Thanks. I finally found the right connection today. Only question now is if/how to cover & protect the ends so that dirt and grime don't screw things up. I also don't want to use a material that might somehow catch fire and end up looking like a 458 meltdown.

Unplug, cover with some hi-temp tape and you're good to go. I've had mine unplugged and taped for at least a year. Best 2 minute mod I could think of. I still get compliments on the exhaust note and it's the factory PSE with push-button quiet.

Going to have to get you to help me with that mod when the time comes - nice to see if can be done.

I bought some High Temp Tape on eBay today (up to 280 C) and am going to make the change as soon as it gets in. Removing the connector is super easy...I just won't do it until I can make sure the connector won't get full of crud and that the tape won't melt or cause a fire in the engine bay.

worrying too much, electrical tape and your good to go for life, or tie a condom on it. LOL.

remember that connector is in the same place just disconnected.. electrical tape will be perfect, and only get stickier with age.
