Good looks, lighter, faster, more fuel efficient than last gen, and active suspension for the S. Really a nice 911. Well done, Porsche.

But like Alex said, the rear lettering needs to go.

No surprises here except PDCC, and how efficient it is!

And as we already knew, it looks fantastic. I'm looking forward to more pictures and the web special! I assume they will be here tomorrow? Anyway, here are a few more pictures of a blue car (and strangely there is no chrome window stripping).

$96k for a Carrera S coupe seems expensive to me, considering how crazy Porsche gets with options.

Few more detailed shots thanks to Suncoast Porsche!

I agree. $4500 Base Price increase represents a 4.9% increase. It would help to understand if any formerly optional equipment is now standard. But assuming otherwise, once you add in the options that you want (PDK, PDCC, Sport Chrono, stereo, seats, leather, other exclusive options), this is quickly going to be a $120K car.

But, that might be the plan. Move the 911 up in the status rankings of exclusive sports cars in order to also move the Boxster/Cayman up...thus making room for the rumored 356 (or whatever they call it).

Thanks, they look great!

I dug up some shots from the German site and interestingly these don't have the "911" badging.

Better without the '911' badges along with the 'Carrera'. But still too much text in such a small area. Either 'PORSCHE' or 'Carrera', but not both.

SO much cleaner sans the 911 badge...

Not feeling this, looks a bit strange imo.

Personally I would probably debadge everything and just leave "911". It seems a bit boastful telling all the drivers behind you that, yes, you are in fact driving a "PORSCHE 911 Carrera S". Imagine when more models come around. Then you can tell the world you're driving a "PORSCHE 911 Carrera 4 GTS".

"911", so much better.
