2012 Porcshe GTS 4 or 2012 Nissan GT-R?

I had the same decision to make a few years ago and chose a PDK C2S over the GTR. While the Nissan has massive power and performance, I had several items that i couldn't get past:
* maintenance: too many stories of enormous charges for simple oil changes, etc.
* longevity: I wasn't convinced that the GTR was designed and built to last.
* driving experience felt relatively disconnected
* the car is BIG, but that doesn't translate to additional interior space
* it felt as if there was a lot of 'show' to gain attention in the interior
* it's a $96k NISSAN
* it's not a PORSCHE
And when you look at it now, Nissan doesn't exactly deal on the GTR prices, but Porsche dealers are working to move 911s, including GTS. I think you might find that while There might be $15-20k gap in list prices, monthly payments may not necessarily be that different.

NP. But I forgot one point in the GTRs favor:
When you bring in your Porsche for any service, you are always tempted to look at all of the other amazing Porsches in the showroom...which tends to tempt your wallet.
When you bring your GTR in for service (GTR owners get to know their Service Managers real well as I understand), there won't be a SINGLE OTHER CAR in the showroom that will interest you. So, your pocketbook will thank you for not being tempted to trade. In fact, there won't be anything there to trade-up to. Only moms and kids there to buy minivans and sentras.
