Seems to be a new color because that is not meteor grey. This color is darker; almost atlas grey.

I like it though.

That's definitely Meteor. I just sold a Meteor 997.2 - same exact color - it's very light-dependent. Atlas is much darker, almost black. Slate is much browner. That is by far the best color I've seen on the 991 so far, but it still looks VERY 996-ish to me from certain angles.

I like it...just imagine what a GT car or Turbo will look like
I think a year from now, our 997's will look funny....short wheelbase with long overhangs and tall roof with "vertical" windshield in comparison.

Agreed - the Turbo looks the best so far of the 991s (though the next Cayman looks better).

^^ Yes, Chris, the new Cayman looks hot! The 918 style fenders, and the high pushed back rear end looks sooo aggressive and sexy!

As much as I love the new proportions of the 991, the 997 is all around one of the best looking 911's ever. I like the design of the 991 better (details), but the 997 will probably end up being my all around favorite 911 ever (besides of course the '63-'73 cars). But, the 991 hasn't been unveiled yet, I'm sure my opinion will change...

It looks really good, and the wheels look fantastic. Only thing I don't like is the foglights that droop over the sides of the intakes. In this shot though the shape is more visible, and they look angular on the side, so I don't think it will be that bad.

We are hoping Porsche will then bring it (air freight) to the special PCNA stand at the Porsche Race Car Classic on Oct. 16th in Carmel for the publicity it will garner at this unique event at the tail end of Rennsport IV! I expect to see Dr. Wolfgang Porsche and many high Porsche officials at this once-in-a-lifetime 'gathering' of early Porsche Race cars!
