RSS New Product Release!
RSS engineered the Dampened Underdrive Crank Pulley (DUCP) to free up additional horsepower from the Carrera S (3.8L) engine. By carefully engineering the DUCP we were able to see significant power gains throughout the RPM range by reducing the parasitic drag from the OEM crank pulley and accessory drive system.
The “Dampened” design prevents unwanted crankshaft harmonics and vibration like the OEM unit without adversely affecting accessory drive speed and functionality (Power Steering, Alternator Charging, and Water-pump).

Dyno Test Results
Date: 07/09/10
Independent Dyno Test Location: Stack Performance, Anaheim CA
Temp: 93.44 Degrees F, Humidity 25%
Dyno Type: AWD Dynojet Research (power measured - wheel to ground)
Test Fuel: 91 Octane (California pump gas)
Vehicle Type: 997.1 (3.8L) Carrera S (2005)
Transmission: 6 Speed Manual
Baseline Run Mods: OEM Crank Pulley, OEM Software, Cargraphic Headers, Hi flow Cats, and Medium Sound Mufflers.
RSS Modified Run: Added DUCP Part #608, to baseline car/mods
Peak Wheel Gain HP Corrected Factor/DIN = 16.38HP
Peak Wheel Gain TQ Corrected Factor/DIN = 7.84TQ
