New Girl, First Porsche

Wow. Um, I guess I didn't expect this many replies! Didn't think anyone would be that interested in a plain 911...but some of the posts cracked me up. Thanks for the warm welcome.
I've come to really like Ruf Porsches, so I'm thinking the basic stuff will come from them. I haven't had a chance to track this car, but I'm hoping to get it into at least some autocross or something this spring. I did notice the short time I was driving it that the car seems nervous or twitchy when I brake hard from high speeds, so maybe a brake upgrade is due.
Thanks again for the unexpectedly extended welcome! I'm hoping to hold onto this car for awhile, a friend nearly talked me into trading it in for a new 1 Series M Coupe, and the other day I saw a 2007 Cayman S in a beautiful gunmetal gray color, and almost went for it.

As for autocross, it's fine an' all, but these cars were made for a road course. Where are you located? If you're anywhere near Road Atlanta, that's quite a well-regarded track

Look for the HPDE calendar for all the local chapters of the car clubs (Porsche, Audi, BMW etc.) and sign up. Best introduction to track driving, and *way* more street time than you get at an AX event.
