Nothing but access to fluid caps and ventilation. It doesn't look like we'll be seeing anymore of the flat-6 except from the underside. Unless of course this access door and spoiler sit on top of a larger engine cover door.

Wow!! Finally, when we'll pass someone by night, the guy will think: "Look at that Aston Martin, it goes very fast!!"

Well, maybe, he will think that it's an Audi...

Here's an even better image.

And a rendering based on the video.

Personally, I'd prefer a design less "gently" for tail lights. I would have preferred a classic, linear style, that visually lower the tail (I've made a little gif image to show what I mean, but I think I'd make an , and I'm not good like our mr. Carrera!)

Thanks, Savio! And I agree with you. The design elements and shape of the new 991, it's all glorious. The problem I see though is that the rear end is too high up, making it look fat. The good thing is though, that the almost undisguised images we're seeing come from a very zoomed angle, which distorts the true look of the rear. So it won't actually look as high as it does (as some un-zoomed spyshots have proved), and naturally, the shape of the rear lights creates an illusion of a lower rear.

Actually, almost all spyshots we've seen come from a zoomed angle, which make the 991 look much bigger than it actually is. On any shot that isn't zoomed, the 991 doesn't look all that big.

Another great thing Porsche has done to the rear of the 991, is sculpted and rounded out the lower section. This makes it very simple, and the way that the road reflects off of the new lower rear shape (particularly this blue-green metallic example) is absolutely breathtaking.

BTW, your gif didn't show up. I'm interested to see it.

Ok.
Here's my ugly render of what I'd do: a large and low big red strip with little strips of led just under the rear wing with stop light, that are "less red" when they're off (like 911-964)
PS I don't know how posting an image (shame on me)
Where's the Faq section?

When posting, click "Go Advanced" below your post. Then look for the little paperclip icon above the post box. Click it load up your images, click upload, and then they should attach right to your post.

Thank you, I found the way, but there are too many limits of size for attached files...
sorry
