I hope the real car doesn't end up looking like that, I really don't like that metal part

I joke that Porsche's engine designs are an Engineer's dream and nightmare-

Dream- b/c it doesnt need to be pretty.

Nightmare b/c it needs to be extremely efficient out of such a small area.

Uomini d'Onore is an unknown quantity at this point
Hmmm... i've never been a 911 (or even a Porsche) guy, did little to appeal to me. But, somehow, I find myself debating whether the new 991 will be my next car (and a replacement for my R8 at that!). I was thinking maybe a Carrera 4S... but I have read that the new 991 Turbo is losing the garish huge rear wing... if so, that too will also be a candidate.

Also, I think the fact that it will be slighlty larger and better kitted out in terms of the interior can only be a good thing... it means it can truly be a more accomplished daily driver?

The interior looks very "heavy". More minivan than sportscar.

agreed. hopefully it's just a matter of time for us to get used to. it's not ''simple'' anymore. instead it's more luxurious. i like the larger exterior & interior. sure looks like it'll be a better ''daily driver'' than the current 997.

With all of the recent magazines writing about the 991 testing in South Africa, Porsche went ahead and released a video themselves...

The Engine compartment has me scratching my head a bit, is it really that small?
