Mini G: The member who snapped the interior shot said he clearly saw the rear tail lights. He said they were about the same length as the current LEDs, but were about 20 CM thinner. I'm trying to get a little more information, then it's time for a rear rendering!

 

Or just wait a couple of months when the "leaked" pics start to trickle out... Is it going to be a Geneva (spring) or Frankfurt (fall) release?

 

Frankfurt Release

 

Sounds like it's coming to Frankfurt, but Geneva would make a bit more sense. All dealers are saying that they hope to get their first 991s in this fall. I heard a rumor somewhere that the 991 GT3 will have the GT1 block, but I'm not sure if I believe that.

It should only be a matter of time before a mule is spied undisguised out and about near the factory, recalling what happened with the 997.

 

I think it's confirmed that the GT1 block is done w/the GT2 RS. I'm 99% sure the next GT3 will be based on the 9A1 block.

 

Exactly. Frankfurt unveiling in September. There will be the last of 997 - special GT3 RS version before the 991 as it was mentioned in other section.

it looks like a stretched and fattened cayman. i love the lights in the back. from the side it looks like a longer cayman. thats not good. the roof line stops too soon and i looks like it has a big trunk lid. it should flow like it does now. it looks like a cayman. thats the only way to describe it
