Difficulty shifting into 1st ......

Difficulty shifting into 1st ......

Had a new Pressure Plate & clutch installed on my '05 997S a few weeks back.
Periodically I have difficulty shifting to 1st from a green light for example.....
Is it possible that I need a shift linkage adjustment. It feels like its stuck between 1st & 3rd and can't find 1st.

Thanks for help & info.

I have the same prob with my 997.2 when its cold

cold should not have anything to do with it.

Cold is an issue albeit small with our trannies...Take it back so they can check it...

Happens to me periodically as well (2009 997.2 C4S). Clutch back in - shifter to neutral - blip throttle - into first easily. Cold seems to have no influence on this and I drive the little snowmobile WAY below zero

If you move shifter slightly towards 2nd then back into 1st works like a charm - no need to go to neutral and blip throttle. Cold does seem to have an effect on shift into first especially with a short shift kit - Porsche even offers a disclaimer in their advertising materials about it.
