The front light should be more 964 that 993

 

Here my latest p-shop version of how I think 991 will look

 

I like it. My only complaint is the grey on the front bumper and the Panamera style wing.

 

^^^ Nice but if you look at the image posted by DJ you will notice that the whole front end is fake...
Just like the turbo looking scoops on the side... I actually think the side mirrors look a "little" off and believe Porsche will end up will "RUF" like side mirrors on this model.

 

Look at the front fenders. They look so much wider and slightly flared from the body!



And could we please have a 911 engine expert tell if there are 4 or 3 pipes leading from each exhaust! I can't tell. I hope we see 3. Also, this looks like an S model hence the quad pipes.

 

I see 8 pipes headed to each exhaust, as expected. Not sure about the confusion -- the 991 TTS-RS will have a de-tuned version of the W16 out of the VW parts bin.

 

^^ I think you mean 4... Like I said, I'll welcome a flat-8, and a V8 will make me really mad.

A flat-6 is unique, a flat-8 is very unique, and a V8 is extremely common.

I just brightened up the image a bit, darkened the background, added some shadows, and outlined the highlights in red. It looks like a flat-6 to me.



EDIT: It looks like I forgot to outline another pipe on the right, making that 8 cylinders... I really don't know.

It's very hard to tell, because when you hear the car,a flat-8 an a flat-6 sound similar. The pictures are too dark to tell. Everything is leading me to believe it's a flat-8 though. Motorsports, my source, these images, how wide the car is...
