I think they made the same mistake with the back of the new 997 that they made with the front of the 996.

I like the use of LED's, but not crazy about the new lense shape (specifically, the lower drop angle... they broke the straight line across the back after 40+ years of that design signature...

I gotta be honest and say that it doesn't look all that different to me and I've been looking at the back of a 997 for over 2 years.
That's fine with me!

I like it and hopefully it's easy retro-fittable to the MK1's along with those tails.
