Ok so a summary of the past 2 weeks
Go on a hunt for old school car 1989 930s
Locate one get turned off think seller played with odometer.
Excellence magazine shows up this month sport classic is in it.
Wife sees it and says why do you not get this one!!

Part 2
Start hunt for car knowing I can bring in under show/collector drive less than 2500 miles
Search net find about 10-15 cars for sale now to find one with extra options and a seller you can trust
I found the car in Germany and go on the hunt to find shipper that I can trust with the cash and pick car up
Found shipper sets up air freight about $12,000 will leave on the 14th
Part 3 get dot approved so customs will release I will explain how this works and costs in chapter 3

Chapter 3
1. Dot you fill form out and must have a importer/lab that can put bond up and get car EPA certified
2. Wallace Labs - is really one of the few left and best he is in Houston
3. He has a direct in with dot
Car is approved in 4 days with package I put together - this is crucial without dot approval car cannot leave customs.
$500 for Wallace to send in application trust me only way to go
Next is $800 fee to start research on what will need to be done to EPA certified
He does it all from ecu, exhaust, sensors whatever it takes.
I go to drop off checks and guess what I get to see
Sterling moss mb sent to him so they can get cars to 5 us clients waiting
Next mcclaren wow!!!
He has a partner that handles customs total fees including duties is about 3% so about $6000 for customs.
EPA fees I will know when car arrives issue is he is saying EPA could take 2 months to approve sad!!
