To celebrate The Centurion’s 10th anniversary American Express announced a special Porsche 911 Carrera S Centurion Edition in Hong Kong on Monday. The sports car is exclusive to American Express Centurion members and card holders.
From now until July 31, 2010, Centurion members in Hong Kong can place their order for the Porsche 911 Carrera S Centurion Edition. Only three of its kind will be available. Each Porsche 997 Carrera S is priced at around HK $ 2 million ($ 256,000 or € 210,000). American Express will make a donation to UNICEF for each car sold to support its vital work on children around the world.
The interior of the limited edition includes black leather, Alcantara and genuine carbon fiber, as well as the “Carrera S Centurion Edition No.1 of 3″ badges on both front door panels and outer door-sill guards in stainless steel “Centurion From American Express” logo. The exterior trim got special edition 19 inch wheels.
All three feature Direct Fuel Injection (DFI) and VarioCam Plus in a 3.8 liter boxer engine delivering 385hp at 6,500rpm through a seven-speed, paddle-operated automatic double-clutch gearbox, the Porsche-Doppelkupplung (PDK). Equipped with Sport Chromo, the sprint to 100km/h (62mph) is done in just 4.3 seconds, with a maximum top speed of 300km/h (186mph).

All I see is Porsche found a way to milking the 997 variant even more, make it "special" and give out the money for charity. Its like hitting 2 birds in one stone in this case. I can order a very unique 997 which costs less than 50% and nobody in their minds could utterly spec it.
