Post 911 Hybrid? You decide...

"You might remember the Porsche 911 GT3 R Hybrid that showed up in Geneva last month. It was the first look at Porsche's idea of how hybrid technology might be deployed in its sports cars. It was easy to pass the show car off as nothing more than display piece to give Porsche some green credibility, but this prototype proves that Porsche is taking the effort seriously. The company is expected to have an entry in the 24-hour race at the Nurburgring next month and eventually a 24 Hours of Le Mans car too. Should be interesting to see how the technology makes its way into the road cars." Source - Insideline.com

911 GT3 RS with KERS!!! I bet you anything. Watch, it will probably be unveiled on their website when we near the next big autoshow. I wouldn't be surprised if they unveiled it Wednesday; Porsche almost always makes big unveils on Wednesday.

I'll say one thing; Porsche has been the ONLY company to give me hope that the future doesn't include droves of boring peices of sh*t for cars like Prius's.

God, Thank you for Porsche!

The gt3 hybrid has already had a few races and finished on the podium in the last race. This thing is 100% real and happening already. As stoppie said Porsche only one giving me hope of a fun motoring future. Keeping fingers crossed for the spyder becoming reality.
