If the car struck an oncoming car, that means it slid to the left, but being that it's a left side impact they had the car pointing in the right direction to get back into their lane... they just didn't make it in time.

Very sad to see this, RIP.

interesting ...this occurred in Australia, which is opposite from us in the US, (right hand drive, other side of road, etc.) ...does this theory hold water in this scenario? (not that I have any idea and I am not forming any opinion )
