A friend of mine will be manufacturing similar wheels starting in March 2010. However, unlike these on the Sport Classic, they will be single piece forged, emulating the old style Fuchs windmill wheel. Fuchs USA is the producer.

IMHO, you'd have to really want this car, or buy into the LE aspect of it, to buy one. Had Porsche made the performance angle something akin to the GT3, my opinion would have been changed; however, to borrow from the style of the '73 RS and then simply give the standard Carrera the performance kit (available on any 997 C2/C4 s or non-S) seems a little lame.
My dealer offered me one and I considered it until he mentioned the price (over £140,048.00 / $219,777.33 at the current exchange rate) and that almost all the parts will available through Exclusive or Tequipment in time.
I like the idea but the either the performance to price ratio is all wrong, imho.
