Excellent write up. Had springs (Eibach) put on my 997 just a few weeks ago.

You have a spring tamer in your garage? Nice.

Thanks all No, don't have a spring compressor in my garage at home; that would be a bit overkill... I've got one mounted on a wall at my shop though. It does come in very handy at times when my spring OCD kicks in

Very nice info on that one. I think for a better installation of the lowering spring, you may need to use some good jacks like what Torin Big Red Jack and other brand would give to you. In that way, your installation of any parts of the vehicle would be good. Hope all is well by now.
