It has been an exciting week here at TPCRacing. We just brought in 2 Porsche 997s this meek to be have our BRAND NEW TPCRacing 997 Single Turbo Kit installed. We took in a 997 C2S and a C4S. Both cars feature 6-speed transmissions. Both cars are currently on the lifts waiting for their systems to be fitted.

Updates will be posted as they become available.

The C2S had some major mods that were pushing 404whp. Now the owner wants a little more.


The C4S had some minor mods including an intake and progressive lowering springs. It turned the dyno's rollers to the tune of 320whp.

This is going to be nuts! I have a 09' C2S but will be putting it up for sale as my heart is set on the mk2 gt3.

 

I have a couple of pics to update everybody. The exhaust/turbo manifolds are taking shape. We got a couple pieces fitted today; the rest will come tomorrow.

Updates:

Fitment Fitment and more Fitment. Finally decided on our first turbo option... bit larger trim and housing than our standard 3.4l motor. Also have some ball bearing options for down the road for those wanting more power @ ~the same boost.





This preproduction system is from the 997.2 car... When this car is finally assembled it will have a catalyst and a shorter muffler.

any speculation of numbers? u stated 420-430 on the cayman's you guys boost... so whats the rough numbers you expect from a 997.1 or 997.2 ?

 

we delivered a 3.8l installed in a cayman w/ our turbo at 505 rwhp @ 6psi.


Conservatively we will likely release the system on a gen 1 3.8 @ ~450whp.
