Single Turbo 997.2S ?

General questions regarding your turbo kits (and I'm excited by your recent announcement) - are there any reliability issues with such kits. I remember years ago when turbo kits would smoke motors very easy...
Thanks and looking forward to hearing more - keep up the good work!

I'm curious as to why you would go single turbo? The only reason we (RX7s) go single turbo is because of reliability issues from heat (poorly designed manifold and etc). Unless you guys are going with a relatively small turbo, with lets say a GT35R 0.82 A/R, to resolve spooling issues with larger turbos, I just can't seem to see why you'd go single?
Regardless, I've always been impressed with your products, I just appreciate forums like this where you can get a chance to really ask questions.

The primary reason is cost. We could develop a twin turbo system but it would only make a little more Hp and cost significantly more. Our single turbo cayman runs 5-5.5 psi and it makes ~420whp. That is a very comfortable amount of boost for an engine not designed for boost. We are about to have a client write a review of having the car for 50k miles boosted... His car makes a solid 430whp and other than a small hiccup when the system was young it has been bulletproof.
