can one lease a private sellers car??

Can someone lease from a private seller?

Are there some banking institutions that would buy a private sellers car so that and I could lease?

US Bank for example only deals with dealerships and only on new cars...

I know you could lease a used car from a dealer, but just wondering about leasing/buying from a private seller... who would I look to for leasing such a car?

thanks

I would think a "friendly" dealership could arrange this for you...

I know it's possible to do so. There are many independent leasing agencies which specialize in leasing used cars. But from my research, it doesn't pay to lease a used car. The interest rates are higher and residuals are too low. You can usually get into a new car at very close to the same price.
