I really like what I see and what I read. Hope that it will true and next 911 will be even better than it seems now. It will be even better if Porsche will accept memeber ECB idea about the price.

Harrelson is an unknown quantity at this point
Very nice looking i must say. Will Turbo and GT3 variants have the same retractable wing?

All Porsche GTs had fixed wings, i assume that will stay.

Only caveat I see with a 7-speed is that it will be even more impossible to match manual to PDK performance. In the current iteration the 1st and 2nd gear on the TTs are so short and with a stock rev limit of 6,500 you have to shift very fast. With a seventh gear that will become most likely even more drastic. Almost no chance to put the power down manually compared to PDK and launch control.

I am reserving judgement until I see it in person. I didn't think the 997 refresh was looking that good until I saw it in person. This doesn't look so good to me, either, but again, I'll wait...

from pictures, it looks worse than the current 997, esp. the rear, too many interrupting lines.

Rendering...exactly. Sleeper, really (yawn).....sounds like they are merging Cayman body cues with 911, no surprise there.

But if anyone thinks it will only be a 10% rise in price b/w now and '11, forget it.
