No thats a great question. Well i have done a ton of mods when it was just a 996 and being bored(retired) I just wanted to see if it was possibble to convrt to 997 with oem parts. After talking with a ton of shops none said it could be done so i challenged myself to build it. The development cost were high enough that I could have easliy purchased a new car but then i would have just another prosche in a sea of porsches. Here I've had the pleasure of building a car that I know everything about. It drives wonderful and sporting, has a great look and is a testment to the human will power of change. I dont believe its cost effetive for everyone thou, but if your looking to know everything about a porsche 911 the education and time you cannot place a price tag on. In the end product I think I've build a nice car which s a statement into it's self, yes pricy but my motto is" If you put more money in a car then it cost when new your not doing more then what the first buyer did." I dont plan on saling this car but giving it up for auction to benefit the research on my diease once completed.

I have a set of cts-v racer lower control arms and cross drilled rotor/pads if you need them, just pay shipping and what ever you think if your interested, not wanting what i paid just whatever like to see someone get use out of them. I have a 2005 cts-v and never installed the parts just sitting in my garage. Oh its a street/ track car and white is a good color.

In that case a Cup Car wing would be a nice addition.

 

You can us the 997 door just have to alter the 997 door hinges to support the change. Thank you I used all oem parts and yes it was sometime to figure the door issue out lol.

Great work !!! you realy inspire me to convered mine as well. But what about the interior? I never seen anyone converting the 996 interior to 997. Why is that? Is not possible or is very expencive to do?
