Sideways_swe has a reputation beyond repute

The new S with PDK is very fast and the R8 is actually not that fast at all. The R8 needs the V10 engine badly

It needs a V10 to beat a Boxer 6? Ok... if you say so.....

Porsche has a race car engine... The R8 is a common engine from other Audi's.

glad to know that my club coupe (X51) is faster than the R8.

For about the same money as a new GT3, I wonder why people are buying the R8, just for the look?

There are a couple of nice things about the R8:
1) the looks (especially the LED's)
2) the sound of that car is amazing
3) 4-wheel drive (for the ones who like it)
4) last but not least, the best thing about the R8 is that a C2S can beat the hell out of it
