Hunting down a 997...

I recently started looking for a 997 again, a carrera S or 4S in either meteor or slate gray. Im looking to buy one from the USA as prices are way less than Canada even with conversion rate, taxes, etc...

I have found a beautiful 2007 997 4S Slate Gray 4000 miles MSRP $103k
Some options are Slate gray, black full leather, power seats, sport exhaust, heated seats, carbon door sills, turbo wheels, bose, and a couple more.

They are asking $72.9k. What is a reasonable offer to make without lowballing the dealer, and what is a respectable approximate final price?

Thanks guys. Really appreciate it. Looking to be in a Porsche VERY soon

Great color choices by the way, if I ever get my GT3 it will be in one of those two colors. I would start of with $65k, it may be on the verge of low ball, but make sure they know you're serious (and knowledgeable) then work up from there. All of my cars (except the Cayenne) I've bought used and haggling prices is half the fun.

Congrats the price seems reasonable especially for a car with 4000 miles

First off, thanks!

I was actually thinking a 4S of this caliber should end at around 62k. Maybe I am underestimating the value of the car/market?

Regardless, when we spoke over the phone, he was willing to do 68k for it. At that time, i thought it to be too high still...I dunno, maybe Ill call him back with a final of 65k.

Any other opinions ?
