Porsche Camp 4S Ivalo Finland
#1
28/1-1/2 my boyfriend and I and a whole lot of other people from all over Europe participated at Porsche Camp 4S in Ivalo, up in northern Finland.
Our group were lucky and got Steff as our instructor. He is a really experienced instructor and nice guy.
The cars that we used were different variations of Carrera 4 and 4S, Targa 4, all with spikes and PDK. We were 2 persons pr car and we switched on driving. Except for one session when we drove Caymans with 4 mm spikes. These Caymans are among the cars that will be used at the Iceforce-courses.
It was great fun! We drove a lot of different tracks that they had made on a big lake. All participants had great progress in how they handled the cars, and it was insanely fun when you felt you could control the car on the slippery surface and got a much better flow in the driving.
And of course we met many nice people, went snowmobile driving, driving with ice-Go-carts, cross carts, and 4-wheeled motorbikes, and had a nice party. Everybody should attend one of these courses as it makes you a better driver an because its so much fun.
Here are some pictures and videos:
