Ticket
Kind of a rhetorhical question, but I drive on the conservative side, mostly out of the fear of tickets and safety. That being said, I hit the gas just a little and sure enough a cop was following me a few cars back. He commented several times on how nice and shiny my red Porsche was and that it didn't belong on the streets.
My question is: is the track the only safe place you can even remotely push your Porsche? If that is the case, it sure is an expensive auto to drive 40mph around town. I don't regret owning the car one bit, just wanted to get your feedback. With the police force as strained as it is, they are just itching to give out tickets for revenue.
Thanks.

However it's not the only way to enjoy and appreciate a car.

I got pulled over many times while in the States, the majority of which were on empty clear road. In most cases, when spoken to in a respectable manner, the officers would give me a verbal warning.
Pick your roads wisely not only because of the tickets but you don’t want to endanger others or yourself.

The track is something else and the only true place to really push your P-car that being said a lot of people end up crashing because of the car's weight distribution once you master it, it will be an amazing experience

For Americans, your choices are limited. The best defense is sparsely populated areas, with radar detectors, and a good knowledge of the local police activity. Otherwise, stick to the Autobahn as long as they still have unlimited areas.
