Congratulations!!! How do you like the PDK with AWD?

yeah I'm sorry I overslept that day how about a Saturday morning drive 911S, you and I


after reading all the horrible reviews about the PDK shifter knobs I've been pleasantly surprised I actually like it mind you I've only had the car for a week. the actual transmition is a dream the gear changes are seamless yet they can be felt unlinke the DSG on the VW which kind of makes you feel like you are in a continuosly variable transmition. This is my first 911 and I'm loving every second of it everything from the seating position to the steering to the size of the car which IMO is perfect I'm still getting used to having the engine in the back and trying to figure out the weight distribution and how to go about taking corners. I'm still breaking the car in and it's taking all of my will power not to unleash it in all its glorious fury and to be completely honest I haven't really pushed the car so it doesn't really feel like i'm in an AWD yet. I should be past the 1000k mark this saturday and after really seeing what its made of I'll let you guys know

 

We work on Saturday so go for your saturday drive alone!!

Heard something about if you engage the handbrake (only one click) the AWD becomes disabled… is that true??
