If I just take the first post in this thread, and understand it... you want to race. I know you always put a lot of work in your cars, that wont ever change, no matter the car, do whatever you will with it... It doesn't sound like some bust-em-up, put away wet kinda car will do it for you in racing either. It sounds to me like you want to go all the way; so from what I read, it's full on or nothing. Doesn't sound like you will be satisfied with anything less than perfect...

Neijia,

I really appreciate this post. Thank you for that. You and I have been posting together for, what, 2 years now? It's a good perspective on me that you have. However, I also have the side that has grown tired of being so worried about every little situation with my car. It's a perfect car. I've done a good job, but not without stress. So the thought of being able to focus on driving totally (I'd never run a car and "put it up wet" though) would be welcome, I think.

Sechsgang,

Where can this be done? Do you mean, arrive and drives with TRG and the like? I just really don't know much about this option... kind of like leasing...

To bring you up to where I am right now, I like the option of buying a race car. I can get a 996 Koni car with a ton of spares for way less than that 993, but it's a gorgeous car and I know and trust the owner. Just look at Connors pics of it. It's beautiful. I love 993s. Then, there are literally 3 996 Koni cars that all have new engines that I've located for less than $55k. Some come with 3 sets of wheels and spares... one with so many spare parts that I don't know where I'd put them all. That's pretty cool, because I'd race in the same class that I would if I built up my car to be a Synergy car.

I'm not ready for that kind of racing yet. Merry Christmas, Connor. Tell your Dad I said the same!

Well guys, I've made a decision.

I'm building my car. It will be one fun ride, and I'll be sure to take you all along the way with me. It will be a full on race car by spring.

As some of you know, I blew my engine not too long ago. I dropped it off to get diagnosed today. I don't want to just pay Porsche for a new one when I don't know what failed on mine in the first place. The car will be going ALL THE WAY as far as being turned into a race car. Neijia, what you said rang in my ears throughout the decision. I don't want to have regrets. Thank you again.

Soooooo, since it's going to be a race car, I can't run my GT3RS wing. It's totally the badassest thing to put, well, on the ass end of your car. If you want it, here's the scoop.

In the meantime, here's a pic of it. It's totally badass. For real. I love it so much. BUT, I have to comply...

Congrats on making a decision, that was probably the hardest part. Keep us posted along the way!

That rear looks almost as good as the 993 RS.....
