Quick question: 997S faster than 996TT?

Just watched a track race between 996TT and 997S, and the S beat the Turbo pretty bad. was wondering which is faster?

Briefly drove a 997 C4S and 996 TurboS on separate occasions, but not long enough to make good comparisons.
Can you guys help me here. thx.

Targa Tim has a reputation beyond repute

straight line race 996TT win for sure.

on the track, too many variables to account for. I've been on the track with several 996TT and both cars are quite even.

The new DFI Carrera S might give a 996TT a race, but overall I can't see a standard Carrera S beating a Turbo. The Turbo is 420hp and LOTS more torque than the Carrera S without a huge weight penalty...

Im looking for the vid right now guys, but i mean, 415hp AWD vs 385hp RWD with improved fuel & engine management should amount to about the same performance.

The S even beat the NSX-R in the 5 lap race. And these guys are REALLY good drivers. (Japan GT drivers)
